In exercise of the powers conferred under Rule Civil Services (Appointment by Combined Competitive Examination) Rules, 2009 the following Syllabus and procedure is prescribed for Conducting the Combined State Civil Services Competitive Examination:.
The question paper for the Preliminary examination shall be of two hours duration, it shall consist of 125 questions and each question shall carry 04 marks and for every wrong answer 01 shall be deducted.  There will be no negative marking in respect of unattempted question..
